nice to meet you

As a storyteller and inherent nerd, and fan of an Oxford Comma, I look for two things every day: The chance to create and the chance to learn. 

At the intersection of science and art, marketing is the best of both. Using the power of data-driven creative decisions and the written word to form or fix bridges between people is my why. 

My focus is on actionable audience insights, blending journalistic, cinematic and entrepreneurial instincts to create copy across platforms – and I couldn't do it without a proper coffee and decent playlist.

my experience

I have a BA Film and Media Studies from the University of Cape Town, where I graduated with distinction. After I moved to the UK, I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Certificate in Creative Nonfiction Writing.


Since university I have held a variety of professional writing positions in marketing, journalism and the entertainment industry, where I’ve been responsible for delivering everything from social or billboard copy to 10,000 word features.

In addition, I write about critical film analysis, popular science, love letters about food and (self indulgent) poetry. I currently have a drama-comedy pilot script being considered by the BBC.
